Age Limit: Candidates minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 30-06-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Matriculation or its equivalent and have Common Wealth Championship, Asian Championship/ Asia Cup, South Asian Federations (Junior/ Senior category), Senior/ Youth/ Junior Group Singles.
Examination Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs 40/- for UR & OBC as processing charges in the form of Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Workshop Sports Officer, Jagadhri Workshop, payable at Jagadhri Workshop between 01-06-2014 to 30-06-2014. No Fee for SC/ ST/ Muslims/ Christians/ Sikh/ Budhhists/ Zorastrians (Parsis) candidates.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Field Trails, Assessment of Sports Achievement, Educational Qualification and Interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with 03 passport size photographs, examination fee and attested copies of certificates mentioned in notification, in an envelope superscribed with “Recruitment against Sports Quota”, send either by post addressed to The Assistant Personnel Officer (W), Northern Railway, Carriage & Wagon Shops, Jagadhri Workshop, District Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) 135002 or dropped in the sealed box kept in Personnel Branch Hall of Administrative Block of Office of The Chief Workshop Manager, Carriage & Wagon Shops, Jagadhri Workshop (Haryana) 135002 between 10.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs on or before 30-06-2014 up to 17.00 hrs.
